Lead Instructor
Dr. Dustin Pfundheller, D.M.D.
Dr. Dustin Pfundheller is a dentist, clinical educator, and program developer specializing in implant dentistry, digital workflows, and high-volume clinical systems. He serves as Lead Dentist at The Smile Mission, where he oversees clinical care, training, and quality assurance across multiple locations.
Dr. Pfundheller has extensive experience in educating and mentoring dentists, having trained and supervised over 16 clinicians in restorative dentistry, implant placement, and comprehensive treatment planning. He develops standardized clinical protocols and structured onboarding programs designed to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care.
He currently serves as a Clinical Educator and Residency Site Director with Jacksonville University, where he provides hands-on instruction in implant surgery, prosthetics, and case planning. His teaching experience includes delivering continuing education courses, leading live patient training, and lecturing at dental schools and residency programs across the United States and internationally.
Dr. Pfundheller has developed curriculum and competency-based training systems focused on digital dentistry, including intraoral scanning, CBCT planning, and full arch workflows. His educational programs are designed to align with state board requirements and emphasize practical, real-world application.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where he achieved top clinical production in prosthodontics and operative dentistry. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls, graduating with a 3.98 GPA and a university record in honors coursework.
Dr. Pfundheller has lectured and provided clinical training internationally, working with dental professionals in the United States, Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. His experience spans both academic and private practice settings, with a focus on improving clinical outcomes, increasing access to care, and advancing dental education.
About Dr. Dustin
Dr. Pfundheller moved to work as a dental surgeon in Singapore. Besides Singapore’s consistent sunshine, he enjoyed a flexible schedule that allowed him to travel. He worked long days in order to bank time off and visit every country in the world! On his journeys, he volunteered as a dentist in over 30 countries – focusing on places that were dire need for volunteers – Pitcairn, Tuvalu, Syria, Israel, Rwanda, Mauritania and many more. In the Western Sahara, he and a group of Spanish interns worked in 120 degree temperatures, aiding hundreds of people who lived in desert tents. Following his time in Yemen, where he met and assisted three sisters suffering from Papillon-Lefevre Syndrome. Even after experiencing the whole world, there’s no place Dr. Pfundheller would rather be than the home state of his alma mater: Florida! He looks forward to meeting patients and improving smiles at The Smile Mission.

Program Secretary
Regina serves as the Program Coordinator for the Academy for Advanced Dental Education (AADE), overseeing course operations, student communication, and scheduling logistics. She ensures that all programs run efficiently and that participants have a seamless experience from registration through completion.

Finance Director
Raza is responsible for financial operations at AADE, including course pricing, payment systems, and financial compliance. He ensures that all programs are managed with transparency, accuracy, and efficiency.

Dr. Raymond Rophie, D.D.S.
Lecturer & Clinical Instructor
Dr. Raymond Rophie is a clinical instructor at AADE with experience in implant dentistry, restorative procedures, and comprehensive treatment planning. He earned his dental degree in Mexico City and has practiced in both Mexico and the United States.
Dr. Rophie focuses on delivering practical, hands-on education, with an emphasis on implant procedures, full-mouth rehabilitation, and endodontics. He has lectured internationally and has experience providing care in underserved communities.
At AADE, Dr. Rophie is involved in clinical instruction, case-based learning, and hands-on training, helping participants develop real-world skills applicable to daily practice.
